Harry’s Place contributor Karl Pfeifer, a Holocaust survivor and a veteran of Israel’s War of Independence, will participate in two virtual events sponsored by Indiana University.
The first event, on Tuesday February 23 at 11:30 a.m. Eastern Time, will cover Karl’s escape from Hungary in 1943 and his experience fighting in the 1948 war.
The second event, on Tuesday March 9 at 11:30 a.m. Eastern Time, will cover Karl’s experience of antisemitism in Austria and Hungary.
