It has been a mostly underwhelming response to my open question ‘what does it mean to be on the left?’ However Middle Aged Curmudgeon has posted a few times on the issue and ends his latest comment thus:
Harry, the answer to your question is that to be Left means realising the world is not as it should be and then despising others who broadly share your view.
