Gerald Kaufman and Labour’s Pit

Labour’s pit gets deeper by the week. Now it’s Gerald Kaufman’s turn to dig furiously:

Speaking at a Palestine Return Centre event in Parliament on Tuesday, Sir Gerald said that the British government had become more pro-Israel in recent years.

He said: “It’s Jewish money, Jewish donations to the Conservative Party – as in the general election in May – support from the Jewish Chronicle, all of those things, bias the Conservatives.”

Sir Gerald, Father of the House of Commons, then told the audience of 45 people that the Israeli government had made up the recent spate of violent attacks in order to allow it to “execute Palestinians”.

Read on. There’s more here.

This is no surprise. See Kaufman here beaming with Hamas. Note that the man to Haniyeh’s left in the first picture is Majed al-Zeer of the Palestinian Return Centre (PRC), the Hamas front which orgainsed the parliamentary meeting.

Our old friend Sameh Habeeb, the PRC’s media man, was also at the parliamentary meeting. His long record of insane hatred makes him a perfect match for Labour in 2015.

Naturally former Labour MP Martin “Tentacles” Linton pitched in too. So did Labour MPs Andy Slaughter, a veteran champion of antisemites and extremists, and Grahame Morris, Chair of “Labour Friends of Palestine and the Middle East”.

Over to you, Mr Corbyn.
