I’ve recently started catching up with the BBC serialisation of Anthony Trollope’s The Pallisers on Radio 4 extra (which I recommend). By chance I’ve just heard the episode where poor Phineas Finn makes a disastrous maiden speech. Naz Shah does much better. You can read the full text here.
