Yes, there have been atrocities on both sides during the Syrian uprising, but this one stands out for sheer horror.

Dozens of people are reported to have been killed or wounded in a government air strike on a bakery in the central Syrian province of Hama, opposition activists say.
The incident took place in the town of Halfaya, the activists said.
Rebels have been fighting the government of President Bashar al-Assad for 21 months.
Opposition activist groups say more than 44,000 people have been killed, including nearly 31,000 civilians.
One activist in Halfaya, Samer al-Hamawi, told Reuters news agency: “There is no way to really know yet how many people were killed. When I got there, I could see piles of bodies all over the ground.
“We hadn’t received flour in around three days so everyone was going to the bakery today, and lots of them were women and children. I still don’t know yet if my relatives are among the dead.”
There are fears the toll of casualties could be considerably higher, as hundreds were said to be in the queues.
Unverified video footage purportedly of the incident’s aftermath showed graphic images of bloody bodies strewn on a road outside a partially destroyed building.
