Awaiting the storm

If you don’t have anything better to do (and I sincerely hope you do) you can watch live to see how long a cardboard Mitt Romney survives the approaching Hurricane Sandy.

I’m in southwestern Virginia, a couple of hundred miles inland, so I don’t expect the worst, though there could be lots of rain, along with high winds, downed trees and power lines, and electricity outages– like last summer.

Best wishes to all Harry’s Place readers in the path of the storm. Stay safe.

And I hope we can all appreciate this.

Update: It hasn’t been so bad here in Virginia. Looks like New York City and New Jersey took the brunt of it. TPM has some dramatic photos.
