There’s no question that Bashar al-Assad’s forces are committing vile atrocities on a daily basis, but there is good reason to be cautious about a horrific video that has surfaced of Syrian forces apparently burying a man alive for sending videos to Al Arabiya.
This is not to say Assad’s thugs are incapable of doing such things. But it does have a staged vibe about it.
