I was all set to post a photo of a handshake between Gordon Brown and Barack Obama during the latter’s visit to London, with a snarky caption like: “Is the prime minister shaking hands or holding on for dear life?”
However, while I can find plenty of photos of Obama and Brown together gesturing and pointing, I haven’t found a single photo of them shaking hands (on this visit, I mean– there are handshake photos from Brown’s visit to Washington).
Why, it’s almost as if he knew…
