Put down that Pink Gin and step away from the keyboard

Drink-related deaths have more than doubled in Britain in the last ten years according to:

The Telegraph

Despite the moral panic in the newspapers over female binge-drinkers, the bad news for the Harry’s place demographic is that it is men between the ages of 35 and 54 who are mostly at risk from alcohol-related death.

Middle-aged men in 2004 had a death rate over three times that for men aged 15-34, almost twice the rate for men aged 55-74, and two and a half times the rate for men aged over 75.

Personally I used to be a 10 pint a night man, but marriage has quite literally had a sobering effect on me.

So who is doing all this drinking? Is it you? Why?
