From the Guardian’s media pages:
The Daily Telegraph today won permission to appeal against the former MP George Galloway’s £150,000 high court libel victory against the newspaper.
I wonder what will happen if the Telegraph win on appeal ?
At issue, apart from the law, is the £150,000 damages and the eye-watering legal costs of £1.2 million which dwarf the sum awarded to Galloway by Mr Justice Eady.
Gulp !
