Burma, Cuba, Libya, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, and Turkmenistan are the worst of the worst.

Bubbling under by being merely appalling are Belarus, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Laos, Somalia, Uzbekistan, Vietnam and Zimbabwe.

As Mick Hartley points out of these countries, six are actually members of the UN’s human rights commission: China, Cuba, Eritrea, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, and Zimbabwe.
