Labour Party

Ken Livingstone’s Sheikh and Corbyn’s Labour

Now that Ken Livingstone is in the news again, let’s revisit one of the very best measures of the man: his support for his favourite sheikh, Yusuf al-Qaradawi.

You will remember that Livingstone has championed the Islamist hate preacher for years on end.

Here’s just one of those episodes. It’s a Stonewall hustings in 2008.

Note what he says about homophobia in particular. What a shameful and disgusting whitewash.

See Qaradawi himself here, speaking in 2006. The only puzzle for the poor old sheikh is how exactly homosexuals must die for their “crime”. Throw them off “a high place”? Burn them? Oh proper theology can be so tough, you know.

Qaradawi is a Hitler fan too, of course.

Ken Livingstone isn’t fit to stuff envelopes for the Labour Party. The Qaradawi disgrace proved it, long ago. Yet Camp Corbyn thinks he should lead a defence review.

This alone tells you everything you need to know about Corbyn’s Labour.
