Time for Fidesz apologists to face reality

With an MP for Hungary’s ruling Fidesz party delivering a speech commemorating the Hungarian Revolution of 1848-1849 in which he claimed the revolution failed because of “the Rothschilds and international banks”…

And with Hungary’s ambassador to Lebanon visiting a Hezbollah monument and reportedly expressing his admiration for the organization’s “great achievement”…

…is it time for Fidesz’s conservative American apologists (for example, The Weekly Standard’s Christopher Caldwell and Republican Congressman Chris Smith) to stop ignoring the evidence and concede that the far-right Jobbik party is not the only repository of antisemitism in Hungary?
