As long as we aren’t kept waiting on the ground

A good cartoon by Jim Morin of The Miami Herald about how Congress rushed to fix a part of the self-imposed sequester (requiring across-the-board cuts on most federal programs) that was causing airline flight delays while ignoring the impact of the sequester on Meals on Wheels for the elderly and housebound, cancer treatment for Medicare patients and Head Start for preschool kids.

It gives you a pretty good idea of which aspects of the sequester tend to inconvenience members of Congress and the people they know, and which don’t.
