I’ve always been informed that when enemies try to rubbish you and make you look stupid, your campaign is doing its job. Consequently, I take a perverse pride at Press TV’s article on The Zionist Federation (ZF) campaign that you can have a read of here .
Reading this article I thought it was a parody, before I remembered how inept a propaganda regime Press TV really is. I could smell the BS emanating from the article a mile off.
The IRG (Iranian Revolutionary Guards) is a vile terrorist organisation, which exports terrorism abroad including attacks on UK soldiers in Afghanistan. It brutally oppresses the Iranian people at home including the crushing of The Green Revolution. I wouldn’t exactly call that humanitarian!
The Guards helps fund Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Hezbollah-, and helped them carry out suicide bombings, car bombs, rockets and mortar attacks and much more against innocent Israelis. The IRG helped provide Hezbollah with the expertise for the killing of five Israelis and 1 Bulgarian in the Bulgarian sea resort of Burgas. Yet according to Press TV the IRG is just a poor humanitarian group targeted by the big bad West. Returning back from the land of make believe the truth is this, the IRG in its commitment to defend the Iranian revolution couldn’t give one iota about humanity. Indeed, they hate humanity as it gets in the way of revolution. After all, if it was left to humanity, the Green Revolution which the IRG helped crush could have overturned the Iranian regime. If it was left to humanity, the IRG through its external arm the Quds Force may not have been allowed to become the godfather of international terrorism helping support and train Palestinians indiscriminately targeting civilians worldwide, including an attempted attack on the Israeli Ambassador in India and the targeting of British soldiers in Afghanistan. Whether it’s the propaganda arm through Press TV or the terror arm through the IRG, humanity loves and values life, whereas the revolution glorifies death and terrorising humans.
Press TV also claims the IRG is popular. Yes, because a group that exports terrorism abroad and oppresses Iranian civilians at home is really popular. It puts the popularity of Manchester United Football team in the shade. It’s up there with Britons’ love of Winston Churchill… and then I woke up. No organisation with such tyrannical morals deserves any popularity.
Now I will present the truth, a concept Press TV finds hard to contemplate. The IRG is a vicious terrorist organisation that is one of the major protagonists of global terrorism. The group and all its associates are awash with the blood of innocent civilians. It operates worldwide including in Europe, The USA and Asia. It simply cannot be ignored and yet that has been the policy of the UK Government and the EU in recent years. For all their harsh words against the Iranian Regime, somehow the IRG has escaped censure. It is almost as though, to the EU and UK Government, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards is invisible. Whether the EU and UK like it or not, to deal with international terrorism means dealing with its sources, whether it is Hezbollah, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards or both. One of the best ways of doing this is through cutting off the financing and support to the IRG through listing it as a terror group across the UK and EU. In doing so, the UK and the EU would be putting their words on fighting International terrorism into action.
