I suppose we will be told that this was entirely the doing of bourgeois fans, and perhaps it was. But still…
–In an all-too-familiar convergence, the white supremacist and antisemitic American Free Press agrees with leaders of Venezuela’s “leftwing” government that Israel may well have had a role in Chavez’s death from cancer.

I recognize (I think) Salvador Allende, Eva Peron, Augusto Sandino, Toussaint Louverture and, of course, Simon Bolivar and Che Guevara. (Guevara probably would have had Bolivar executed as a class enemy, but never mind.)
