For years we’ve noted that George Galloway has absolutely no qualms about presenting programs on Press TV while that state-controlled Iranian website simultaneously hosts foul antisemitic garbage.
An article by a regular Press TV contributor named Mike Stathis, headlined “Jewish Mafia tied to death of America,” would hardly be worth noting, then– except that Mr. Stathis, besides being a Jew hater, is also a white nationalist:
The masses have been coerced by various means to accept dangerous ideals which threaten the nation. For decades, the Jewish Mafia has been reengineering the nation’s institutional infrastructure in order to wage a political and economic war exclusively against Americans of White, Christian, European ancestry. Black pride, Mexican pride and Asian pride are emphasized and encouraged in the school system. In contrast, White Americans are discouraged from developing a sense of pride and self-worth. Under the rule of the Jewish Mafia, America’s educational establishment is now teaching students that race does not exist.
Press TV provides the rather unconvincing disclaimer: “The views expressed in this article are those of the author and not necessarily those of Press TV.” But the comments below the article are revealing in themselves, and suggest the kind of audience to which Galloway and his fellow Press TV contributors appeal.
If Galloway is untroubled sharing a website with antisemites, do you think he will he be outraged that his employer is also providing a platform to a white racist?
Me neither. But perhaps Galloway’s fans at Socialist Unity– which tried to make a case on the flimsiest grounds that Harry’s Place knowingly hosted a racist– will finally have their fill of him.
On second thought, who am I kidding?
