Residents of the Syrian town of Kafranbel have been displaying some creative drawings and slogans in an effort to draw the attention of the rest of the world to the daily atrocities of the Assad regime. (And yes, I appreciate and share their frustration with Obama’s failure to act more forcefully against the regime.)
Here’s one from a month ago– at the height of the furor over the “Innocence of Muslims” film– which is self-explanatory. (You can see in the background what their resistance has cost them.)
If only cleverness and wit were enough to bring down Assad and his thugs.
