In July I posted about the Israeli heavy metal band Orphaned Land, which has a lot of fans in Arab and Muslim countries.
Here’s a brief video about the band and its visit to Turkey– where, strangely enough, Turkish heavy metal fans did not boycott them, and some Jordanians came just to see them.
My favorite part of the video is when the Israeli cab driver asks the guy from Orphaned Land (rather defiantly) if he has heard of Nat King Cole.
I’d like to see the Israel haters try to disrupt one of their performances.
