Steven Sugar Reaches From Beyond the Grave

In 2009, I blogged about the High Court ruling that the Freedom of Information Act did not apply to the BBC with respect to Steven Sugar’s six year attempt to publish the internally commissioned Balen Report into partisan reporting over Israel.

Sugar persevered, and won the right to an appeal which was due to be held by the Supreme Court when he died of cancer in Janurary. Now, it is reported that his widow is taking up the cudgel with her husband’s lawyers agreeing to represent her.
