Are local Liberal Democrats embarrassed about their coalition links? LabourList spotted this one concerning Lisa Smart the Lib Dem candidate in the upcoming Thamesfield by-election in Putney.
At least that is what her official website says where she is also said to represents “the best chance of beating the Conservatives in Putney”. However, on leaflets she is distributing locally (see below) Lisa is describing herself as a “strong, independent voice”. No mention of being a Lib Dem. Its all quite confusing.
What would Nick Clegg think? I only ask as he lives in the next council ward over. I imagine he would like to do something similar, but its all a bit late for that.
