Perhaps I’m missing something, but I’ve never read a book by Stephen King. Nevertheless I liked this speech he gave at an Awake the State rally in Sarasota against Florida state government budget cuts.

Update: Here’s another famous person, saying “Where free unions and collective bargaining are forbidden, freedom is lost.” If he were running for the Republican presidential nomination these days, it might be used against him– especially if he hadn’t put it in the context of opposing communism.
