Joe “If East Germany could, we could” Miller, the Sarah Palin-endorsed Republican candidate for US Senate from Alaska, has lost the election to incumbent Senator Lisa Murkowski, who was defeated by Miller in the Republican primary and who then ran as a write-in candidate.
Murkowski has said Palin lacks the “leadership qualities” and “intellectual curiosity” to be president, and refused to say that she would vote for Palin over Barack Obama.
