As you know, Abu Hamza has won an appeal against the government’s attempts to remove his British passport:
The cleric came to Britain on a student visa and acquired a British passport through marriage. He was denied an Egyptian passport in 1982 because he had not undertaken military service, the panel heard, but a decree in 1988 allowed him his citizenship back.
But Egyptian law expert Sabah Al-Mukhtar, appearing as a witness for Hamza’s legal team, told the commission it was possible he had been stripped of his nationality later on for other reasons.
He said by refusing Hamza a passport the Egyptian government was giving a “de facto” denial of his nationality. The panel heard that under Egyptian nationality laws, a citizen cannot obtain a foreign nationality without government permission. If they do, that nationality may not be recognised by the Egyptian government
Well done Sabah Al-Mukhtar! Without your expert testimony, Abu Hamza would have lost the case.
But who is this Sabah Al-Mukhtar? Surely not the enthusiast for “The Protocols of The Elders of Zion”, who during a 2006 interview by the American antisemite Darryl Bradford Smith observed of the antisemitic hoax:

Not the man who wrote to the Telegraph to threaten ‘violent extremism‘ if Britain didn’t change its foreign policy to suit his tastes. The man who openly supported the “resistance” in Iraq, and refused to condemn the lynching of military contractors and security guards. Whose line on 9/11 is “Come on, tell me another one”? That’s a quote.
Surely not the very same Sabah Al-Mukhtar who was vice president of Galloway’s Mariam Appeal? The chap who then was – briefly – one of the two trustees of the Hamas funding operation, Viva Palestina? Of whom George Galloway said:
Sabah Al-Mukhtar, who has been with me as my right hand all of this way
Here he is, this time last year, in Rafah, in the process of breaching the EU and UK sanctions regime against Hamas, a crime for which he will not be prosecuted:
As far as I can tell, it is. Unless, of course, there are multiple Sabah Al-Mukhtars.
