I don’t know how accurate these Daily Kos polls are (as accurate as most others, I suppose), but here are some interesting results:
By 51 to 16 percent (33 percent not sure), Democrats believe the theory universally accepted by scientists that America and Africa were once part of the same continent. By 47 to 24 percent (29 percent not sure), Republicans disbelieve it.
By 93 to 4 percent (3 not sure), Democrats believe Barack Obama was born in the United States of America. Only 42 percent of Republicans believe it (28 percent disbelieve it and 30 percent are not sure).
