Bernama, the Malaysian National News Agency, reports:
Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad will deliver a keynote address at the Forum and Exhibition on Gaza Genocide: Palestine Solution in London on March 31.
A joint effort by the foreign ministry and Kuala Lumpur Foundation to Criminalise War, the event will be officiated by the minister, Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim.
“There is not enough in press reports to show what is happening (in Gaza). Thus, we feel we should make a special effort to expose the events in Gaza, through this forum,” Dr Mahathir told a media briefing on the event Thursday.
Influential speakers who have agreed to share their thoughts in the event are Cynthia McKinney (ex-candidate [of the Green Party] for the United States presidency), Sir Gerald Kaufman (British elected representative who is against the Gaza genocide) and Rabbi Cohen (a prominent rabbi who is vocally against Israel’s policy).
Others include Lauren Booth (a human rights activist) and Tony Benn (former British cabinet minister).
Most of those people need no introduction to regular Harry’s Place readers.
Judging from its website, the Kuala Lumpur Foundation to Criminalise War should be renamed the Kuala Lumpur Foundation to Criminalise Only Wars Undertaken by Israel or the United States, But Especially by Israel. Former Malaysian prime minister Mahathir, the Foundation’s founder and the keynote speaker in London, will be remembered for declaring at an Islamic Summit Conference in 2003 that “the Jews rule this world by proxy,” among other choice antisemitic assertions.
A related “Criminalise War” blog includes this antisemitic filth by Musa bin Ismail, who is on the board of trustees of the Foundation.

Update: Another trustee of the Kuala Lumpur Foundation to Criminalise War, Matthias Chang, is former political secretary to Mahathir and author of Future FastForward: The Zionist-Anglo-American Empire Meltdown. The extreme-right American Free Press publicized (pdf) the book:
Chang’s views represent a growing body of thought throughout a vast world which has come to see the ruling elite among the U.S.-British-Israeli axis as embodying the interests of global Zionism and international capitalism rather than Americanism.
