In response to recent media coverage related to the dismissal of Dilpazier Aslam, a former trainee journalist at The Guardian newspaper, Hizb ut-Tahrir, a non-violent Islamic political party, rejects outright allegations that it is anti-Semitic or that it has incited violence.

We reject decisively the charge of anti-Semitism because Islam is a message directed to all humankind.
Reject it as “decisively” as they like: Hizb are still racists.
We all know about the leaflet “And kill them wherever you find them” which was hosted on Hizb’s London based website until their organiser in Denmark was convicted and imprisoned for a the race hate crime of distributing this text. The criminal nature of that publication explains why it was removed.
The broader explanation for the removal of both pamphlets is that Hizb are trying to rebrand themselves as a non-racist party. If they’re publicly exposed as racists, they know full well that they won’t get the cosy interviews that they’ve been receiving on the Today programme, and they won’t get the sympathetic coverage in the left-liberal papers and on the BBC News website that they use as part of their public relations and recruitment strategy.
Hizb’ut Tahrir, in common with may other ultra-right wing racist totalitarian groups which try to hide their true nature, cannot help but give themselves away. Their most fundamental insticts are racist. It is only by the exercise of phenomenal of level of self-control – and by the failure of newspapers and broadcast media consistently to expose them – that they manage to maintain the barest patina of respectability. They try to hide the evidence of their racism, but by erasing the evidence, they only prove the hollowness of their claims to be moderate.
As with racists and fascists of the non-Islamist variety they should be confronted with the specifics of their bigotry whenever they are interviewed, and whenever their events are reported on. If progressive sections of the media fail to do so, they assist in the promulgation of their hateful views.

And kill them wherever you find them
“And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out” [2:191]
The Jews are a people of slander. They are a treacherous people who violate oaths and covenants. They lie and change words from their right places. They take the rights of people unjustly, and kill the Prophets and the innocent. They are the most severe in their hatred for those who believe. Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) has forbidden us from allying ourselves with them:
“It is only as regards those who fought against you on account of religion, and have driven you out of your homes, and helped to drive you out, that Allah forbids you to befriend them, then such are the Zalimoon (wrongdoers)” [TMQ 60: 9]
This is how they used to be. This is how they are now, and this is how they will continue to be. This region, especially for the people of Palestine, has suffered their evil for about fifty years. The martyrdom operations that are taking place against them are legitimate. The whole of Palestine is a battlefield whether it is the parts usurped by the Jews in 1948, or afterwards.
The summit of the Arab rulers in Beirut presented unanimously a peace initiative to those aggressors and usurping Jews. The Jews rejected it even before the conference was held. Even before the conference had finished and before the ink had dried, the Jewish state began to wage a new aggression against the people of Palestine. It went to extremes in its killing, destruction and eviction. This was a slap in the face to those rulers: a challenge, contempt and scorn for them, as if they are mere flies or dung beetles! Don’t these rulers feel any embarrassment or have they, as it seems, lost all sensation and any sense of dignity? In their humiliation they have become like the dead, (as the poet says):
Whoever becomes despicable, disgrace becomes easy There is no pain from the wound of the dead
These rulers are not of the same type as the Islamic Ummah. Even the Arabs of Jahiliyyah before Islam used to reject injustice, and had a sense of honour and dignity. As for these rulers, they hear the cries of help from women, children and the elderly, and witness with their own eyes the dead bodies of Sabra, Shatilla, Qana, Gaza, and the West Bank as if nothing has happened. How evil are those rulers who have humiliated the best Ummah brought forth for mankind.
When it is said to them: What are you waiting for? Why do you not fight while your enemy usurps your land, kills your brothers and slaps you in the face…? They say: we are not able because the enemy is more powerful than us! Then why do you not prepare, whilst you are the ones with the human force, financial wealth, vast lands, glorious history, divine Message and the ‘Aqeedah of martyrdom? Why are the Jews who are cowards, the most severe in their love for life, who only yesterday planted their state on a small patch of land with only few numbers of foreigners, why should they be stronger than all the Arabs? Indeed not only that, but they challenge the whole Islamic Ummah!
The truth of the matter is that these rulers do not want to prepare for war, because they are agents of the kaafir western states. These states order them not to fight the Jewish state. That is why they do not think of fighting it or preparing to oppose it, even if it committed aggression against them and occupied their land. The issue is not about the inability to fight and uproot the Jewish state. Rather, the policy of those rulers is thus. The western states, whose agents they are, order them to be like this. The Saudi initiative of Abdullah, which was adopted unanimously by the summit in Beirut, is an American instruction and the Arab rulers have submitted to this instruction.
Indeed, those rulers are not from the nature of this Ummah. The peoples of the Islamic Ummah today show examples unparalleled in human history. They represent a proof against those negligent cowardly agent rulers who say: ‘We do not have the power to fight the Jews’. Only yesterday we saw the Muslims of South Lebanon in their fight against the Jews give a striking example of sacrifice, Jihad and martyrdom, which forced the Jewish state to undertake a humiliating climb-down.
Today the Mujahideen in Palestine provide us with the best of examples: The youth are competing in the martyrdom operations. Young girls have started to compete with the young men for martyrdom. Mothers are pushing their sons to become shaheed, and they make Sujood in thanks to Allah when they hear the news of the martyrdom of their sons. So how far are these rulers from these peoples? There is a famous saying: ‘As you are, so will be your rulers.’ This means the time of these rulers has come to an end. A new dawn is beginning to rise on this Ummah in which Iman, Jihad, martyrdom and victory prevail against the kuffar, their agents and tools.
We wish to ask the Arab rulers: By what justification did you give up the land of Palestine, occupied by the Jews before 1967? You founded the PLO in 1964 to liberate what the Jews had occupied before that. Now you say: comprehensive withdrawal in exchange for comprehensive peace. Is withdrawing to the 1967 borders a comprehensive withdrawal? The leaders of the PLO, who are known as the Palestinian Authority, have even given up the 1967 border. They are giving up everything the kaafir states are demanding them to give up.
Indeed the entire land of Palestine is Islamic Land, it is the land of kharaj whose revenue is the property of the bayt ul-mal of the Muslims. This land is not owned by the Arab rulers, or leadership of the PLO, or the leadership of the Palestinian Authority; nor is this land is owned by the rulers of the Muslims, or the people of Palestine; no one of these has any right of ownership so as to surrender of even a hands span of this land to any foreign kufr state. The surrender of the disgraceful, squandering rulers is completely batil, the mujahideen will prove the surrender to be batil, and these treacherous, squandering agents will be severely accounted.
O Muslims!
Indeed these rulers, and with them the leaders of the PA, are all cheap agents. Not only that, they are traitors in every sense of the word. They are relinquishing the land of Palestine, and the sanctities of Palestine, to the Jews under orders from the Kaafir states of the West, especially America. They are acting out their parts to deceive the Islamic and Arab peoples, in order to carry through these initiatives, which are nothing but conspiracies. They call these conspiracies ‘the peace of the brave’, which is actually the ‘submission of the cowardly traitors’. This is not abuse, but merely a description of their reality. After a while this fact will be understood by those who have not understood it yet. But what use of such understanding when it is too late.
O armies in the Muslim lands!
Is it not time that you yearned for the Jannah? Has not the time come for you to seek the honour and dignity of this world and the Hereafter? Does it not shake you when you see, so close to your homes, the massacres inflicted on your brothers in Palestine at the hands of the Jews, who are the most severe in their hatred of the Muslims? Is not your primary function to protect Islam and fight the enemies of Allah, the Jews who have usurped the land of Israa (Night journey) and Mi’raaj (Ascension)? Is your function only to protect the thrones, ceremonies and festivals?
Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) has obliged you to remove these thrones (of these rulers) who conspire with the enemies of Allah against the blood of the Muslims. Allah has obliged you to help your brothers who are seeking your help in Palestine:
“But if they seek your help in religion, it is your duty to help them”[TMQ 8: 72]
Indeed, that you should destroy the monstrous Jewish entity. So regain the glory of Islam and the way of its great leaders. If you do that then your works will be written in letters of light in this world and the Hereafter. If you neglect this duty then you will bear the sin of remaining silent, and you be humiliated and disgraced in the Dunya and Akhira, and that is the manifest loss.
O Muslims!
Are you not the best Ummah brought forth for mankind? Are you not the ones who spread the Guidance and Light to the world and banished ignorance (jahiliyyah) and darkness? Are you not the Ummah that vanquished Persia and Rome, and initiated the conquests and raised the banner of Islam in the regions of the world? How can the Jews overcome you, those who have been covered with humiliation and misery forever? Your rulers prevent you from fighting yet you do not rise against them, change them or reject them. Allah will ask you about this silence and acceptance of this oppression and acceptance of the oppressors.
He (subhana wa ta’ala) said:
“And fear the Fitnah (affliction and trial) which effects not in particular (only) those of you who do no wrong”[TMQ 8: 25]
The oppressor, with his injustice, and the oppressed, who is silent about the injustice, will both be afflicted by the Fitnah.
He (sallalahu alaihi wasallam) said:
“By the One in Whose Hands, is my soul! You must enjoin the good and forbid the evil or Allah will be about to send upon you a punishment, and you will make Du’a to Him and He will not respond (to you).”
O Muslims!
It is obligatory on you to move like the living and not sleep like the dead. Remove those oppressors who have suspended the Law of Allah and suspended the Jihad in the Path of Allah. It is obligatory on you to push these armies to advance to the battlefield, show their bravery to the Jews, which will make those behind them flee and remove the filth from the land of Israa and Mi’raaj. As long as the spirit of sacrifice, Jihad and martyrdom has renewed in the Islamic Ummah, this will make her discard these agent rulers, who are not from them. Then she will establish in their place a Khaleefah, to whom she will give her Bay’ah on the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger, to apply the Sharee’ah of Allah, and establish the Islamic Deen, and carry the Islamic Message to the world, and to declare Jihad against the usurping Jews, and against all those who help them in their aggression.
He (subhana wa ta’ala) said:
“If you help (in the cause of) Allah, He will help you, and make your foothold firm” [TMQ 47: 7]

Muslim Ummah Will Never Submit To The Jews. (Reprinted by Al-Muhajiroun). London: Hizb-ut-Tahrir, November 3, 1999.

In recent years the Muslim rulers, and at the forefront the Arab rulers, have been tirelessly hurrying towards recognition of the usurping state of the Jews. Some have already signed a peace treaty with them and some have opened offices whilst others are engaging in trade with them. Some are also receiving their representatives in public whilst others are meeting them secretly. And all of them declare that peace with the Jewish state is a strategic objective!
The most recent of these hurried developments was the establishment of full diplomatic relations between Mauritania and the state of the usurping Jewish enemy under the auspices of America.
Some of the Arab rulers censured Mauritania not because she has recognised, made peace with and established relationships with the usurping enemy. But because she did not wait a little to coordinate with the rest! Mauritania responded by saying that she is not the only one who has followed on this path, rather Egypt, the largest of the Arab countries, had previously followed this path and so has Jordan and the Palestinians, the people of the land it is. So why is Mauritania blamed but these other countries are not blamed?
All of us remember when the Arab rulers met in Baghdad and sent a delegation to Anwar Sadat in 1979 to prevent him from making peace with the Jewish state. He refused. So they boycotted him. They moved the main offices of the Arab League from Egypt to Tunisia. And all the Arab peoples came to consider Anwar Sadat as a traitor and the Egyptian people themselves killed him in 1981.
And all of us remember the slogan: ‘No peace, no recognition and no negotiations with the Jewish state.’
And all of us know that the constitutions and canons of Arab countries consider any meeting or contact with the Israeli enemy a betrayal and a crime.
What has changed since, that we made the rulers rush towards what up until yesterday, they used to consider a disgrace, a betrayal and a crime?! Indeed the Jews have increased in their arrogance, superiority and corruption in the land: they insist on expelling more and more of the people of Palestine so that they can bring in more of the world’s Jews. They are demolishing homes, confiscating land and property, imprisoning people, torturing them, breaking their bones and killing them. They occupied Masjid al-Aqsa and the al-Haram al-Ibrahimi and committed massacres in these masajid. They violate agreements and are disloyal to the treaties they have signed. They violate the airspace and waters of Lebanon every day and with their arms they bomb its cities and villages. They have occupied the lands of Lebanon, Syria and Palestine, and they increase daily in their provocation and defiance to all the Arabs and Muslims. They are a poisoned dagger thrust into the heart of the Islamic Ummah and evil cancerous gland which spreads deep within the Islamic countries.
What has changed in the Jews of Israel that made the Arab and Muslim rulers approach them in such a hurry? And why are the Arabs and Muslims showing such indifference to the rulers hastiness towards betrayal? Are the people acting in collusion with the rulers in their complacency and treachery? Or are they conspiring against themselves? Indeed not. They have been misled and thrown into despair.

Therefore, what is behind the hastiness of the rulers towards those Jewish aggressors and usurpers? And why do these peoples show indifference even though their interests are being destroyed, and their honour is being trampled on, and they are made to drink from the cups of humiliation and contempt before the people of the world?
The hastiness of the rulers arises from the orders that are issued to them in one manner or another by their masters in the Kafir superpowers which they are agents to. Those rulers carry the banner of the superpowers before carrying the banner for their peoples because they see that it is these countries which have brought them to power and it is they who keep them in power. These superpowers have subjugated these rulers and convinced them that it is in their country’s interest to follow on the heels of these powers. Part of that is the recognition of the state of Israel and the normalisation of relationships with her. They have convinced them that it is impossible to defeat Israel in war. As a result the rulers have come to see peace with the Jewish state – despite their aggression, provocation and usurping of land – as inevitable and a strategic objective which no one objects except the one who is ignorant of the world political situation!
As for the indifference of the peoples, it comes from the deception, suppression and silencing of mouths, and the despair that the enemies and their agents, the rulers, have succeeded in cultivating in the minds of the peoples. It took them about half a century of deception, acting and staging, expulsion and silencing of voices till they managed to bring the peoples to the point of despair, hence the submission and silence over injustice, humiliation and contempt. The people do not conspire against themselves, rather it is the agents, the deceiving rulers who conspire against them with their masters, the Kuffar, to bring them to the point of despair and submission. Their deception and fostering of despair has reached the majority of the educated people and those working in the field of politics, media, education and direction.
These despondent peoples began to suffer from the actions of their rulers, from their concessions, complacency’s, defeatism and subservience to the colonialist Kafir states, and kneel before the threats of the Jews. However, they do not express about this pain they were feeling in the correct manner. Here lies the problem: We have criminal, subservient rulers who think they understand while they are sincere agents to their masters? from the Kafir colonialist states and they implement what those masters demand of them. And we have peoples that have been misled and suppressed to the point of despair, especially the educated class.
So, is it true that the Islamic Ummah, Arab and non-Arab, is weak in front of the state of the Jews? Certainly not! Impossible! The Islamic Ummah came forth from the Arabian peninsula which was fragmented into pieces and so she united it and conquered the empires of Rome and Persia. The light and Message of her state shone in the whole world and she remained the leading power in the world for a period of more than a thousand years. This Ummah has stumbled in this century and fallen – however, every horse has a fall – and she is returning to her origins and to her natural status for which Allah (swt) has prepared her with His saying: ‘You are the best of peoples raised up for mankind, you enjoin the good (al-Ma’ruf) and forbid the evil (al-Munkar), and you believe in Allah’. [TMQ 3:110]
It is a disgrace for this Ummah to place herself as a rival to the Jews. She is a rival to America and Europe together. She is rival to Russia, China and Japan combined. She is the best Ummah and she carries the best Message to humankind. This is not an imagination, rather it is a fact which has filled history, which is ready now to fill the present and future history. It is this fact that the superpowers fear, a fact which they try to efface and mislead the Muslims from it so that they remain in a state of despair and submission.
The Jews themselves are known for their cowardice and desire for life, yet they did not despair in 1897 when they decided in the Bazil Conference [sic: Basel Zionist Congress] to seize Palestine and expel its people from it and establish in it a state of their own in which they would bring together world jewry. At that time they did not have the means required for such a huge project. Despite this, they did not show despair or submission. And now the Jews live surrounded by enemies. 4 million Jews live amidst 230 million Arabs, and amidst a population of over a billion and 200 million Muslims. Yet their rulers show no fear, but we see fear in our rulers. Their people do not show any signs of despair but it appears in our people! Which of the two groups have greater reason to fear and feel despair? But the deception coming from the superpowers which control the media and the collusion and subservience of our rulers, in whose hands the reigns of power lie, has turned the yardsticks upside down and reversed the facts. This has resulted in our rulers rushing to please their masters at the expense of their nations honour and interests; and this has resulted in our peoples showing indifference and submission.
Thus, the solution is clear, which is that the peoples of the Islamic Ummah should shake off the burden the rulers, the agents, from their shoulders and cast them away as well as their defeated mentality and their corrupt systems, which are themselves systems of Kufr. The solution is within reach and not beyond the capacity of these peoples, since among these rulers there is not a single ruler who enjoys the love and respect by his people even if he was elected by 99% or more of the population. Under the shadow of these police systems, the Ummah only tastes repression and poverty, and she tastes humiliation and defeats before the Jews and before all of her enemies. So such rulers who are viewed as such by their peoples, even their masters from the superpowers would not be able to protect them when the peoples decide to remove them. So all what the peoples have to do is decide, plan and move, and this is not far by the help and mercy of Allah (swt).
O Muslims! Your foremost issue, the vital issue is the issue of Islam: through bringing back the Khilafah and applying the Law of Allah (swt) and uniting the Muslims under the flag of one Khaleefah, and carrying Islam, to the world through da’wah and Jihad in order to make the Islamic state the leading nation in the world, and to make the Islamic Ummah the best Ummah brought forth for mankind. The issue of Palestine is nothing more than one of many issues which has befallen the Islamic Ummah after the Kuffar destroyed the Khilafah and removed Islam from the political arena and tore up the Muslim Ummah and the Islamic lands into many small pieces and tried to create discord and enmity between these pieces to facilitate their control over them.
O Muslims! Purify yourselves from the deception of the rulers, the deception of the Jews and the deceptions of the Western nations which instill in you the delusion that you are weak and that the Jewish states strong. And that you have no option but to submit to her, and you are incapable of doing anything about her as long as countries of the East and West support her. Do not be deceived by these lies. The Jews are cowards, they are a people of money and not a people of fighting. The Western countries are not with the Jews, rather they are with their own interests. They are Capitalist, colonialist countries driven by nothing except benefit. When they find that standing alongside the Jews will make them lose their interests, they will abandon the Jews. But our rulers, due to their humiliation and zeal to please Western states, have secured for the West all of its interests despite the fact that it stands against them and against their peoples and on the side of the usurping aggressors the Jews.
O Muslims! Banish despair from your hearts and trust your Deen [faith] and trust your Lord who says to you: ‘So do not become weak (against your enemy), nor be sad, and you will be superior (in victory) if you are indeed (true) believers’. [TMQ 3:139]
