Citizen Smith

We are informed that in his big speech todayIain Duncan Smith will explain that the Conservative Party will lose the next election if it attempts to get rid of him as leader.

Isn’t there a strong case for saying that the Tories are just as likely to lose the election by keeping him ?

Half the membership thinks the Tory Party made a mistake in electing him as leader two years ago and a massive 90 per cent believe his leadership has been “adequate” at best, or “weak and ineffectual” at worst.

Reactionary Pete 1joins the bunfight and mocks the Tory leader in today’s Times but there’s still no word from our man in Blackpool, Reactionary Pete 2.
