At some point the loathing of Blair, or Bliar, left the realm of politics and became some sort of sub-type of a personality disorder. Symptoms can include the use of associated terms like “ZaNuLabourPF“, and repetition of myths about Blair. My favourite myths about Blair include:
1. The liar Tony Blair claimed to have seen Jackie Milburn play for Newcastle.
This is not true. On the Today programme this morning, it was stated that Blair’s staff decided the story had spread so wide, so quickly, that they had decided it was too late to counter it.
2. President Bush said to the lapdog of US imperialist “Yo, Blair”.
This is not true. It is something that people deeply want to be true. So much so, that it has become “true”.
Do you have similar examples about other politicians?
