Here’s a debate on the Today Programme between Steve Bell – with whose form we’re familiar – and Stephen Pollard.
Interesting comment from Steve Bell:
“The problem with the state of Israel and the Zionist lobby is that they never acknowledge the crime of ethnic cleansing on which the state was founded.”
I’d put the issue slightly differently. It should be more generally acknowledged that the State of Israel is the part of the Middle East into which, after centuries of persecution, close to all its Jews have been ethnically cleansed.
There are about 100 Jews left in Yemen. They’ll be gone by the end of the year.
But this perspective won’t impact on Steve Bell. That’s because, if you’re focused on the wickedness of Jews, nothing else really counts.
