I suppose he’s still the longest of shots for the Republican presidential nomination, but Herman Cain– the former CEO of Godfather’s Pizza– appears to have wowed a focus-group audience after the first GOP candidates’ debate of the election season. (Only one of the five participants, Tim Pawlenty, is generally considered to have a chance of winning the nomination. Other likely candidates, including Mitt Romney, did not participate.)
