It was announced yesterday that Kim Jong Un will take over leadership duties of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
Kim is the son of current Chairman of the National Defence Commission, Supreme Commander of the Korean People’s Army and General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea Kim Jong Il, who was, in turn, the son of Kim Il Sung the previous incumbent of these many and various posts.
The evidence is clear: the monarchical road to socialism works better than the alternatives.
The old Kim is (nearly) dead, long live the new Kim!
