I hope the coup in Turkey works and that Erdogan is booted out but I can’t see it happening.
Although there are confused messages coming out of Turkey at the moment it strikes me as common sense that for a coup to succeed the leader being deposed has to be arrested and this has not happened.

It does appear though that they have moved into the television stations and are trying to take over the mainstream media. If nothing else this coup will go down in history as being the example of how it’s impossible to stop anyone who has an audience from talking to it. As Erdogan showed by communicating via his iphone.
