These anti-Hillary Clinton buttons, reportedly a “popular” item, were for sale at the recent convention of the California Republican party.
Having turned off Hispanic voters (not solely due to the House GOP’s failure to support immigration reform), it appears some Republicans set out to lose women’s votes too. (What remains of sanity in the GOP prevailed, and the buttons were removed shortly after a reporter tweeted the photo.)
As an anti-communist liberal, I find the lower buttons equally offensive. But Republicans don’t care about offending me (as is their right), and anyway the “Liberals = Communists” ship has sailed.
