The Observer posted, then pulled from its website, a “bombshell” report that Britain and other European countries have colluded with with the US “over the mass harvesting of personal communications data.”
The source for the report is conspiracy theorist extraordinaire and all-around nutjob Wayne Madsen.
Apparently the print edition has already gone to press.

When last we encountered Wayne Madsen at Harry’s Place, he was claiming that Israel has bumped off hundreds of nuclear scientists around the world, including by arranging plane crashes, and that the 9/11 attacks were carried out by the Mossad and Saudi intelligence.
