Turns out that Sir Elton John performed a very special version of “Candle in the Wind” in honor of the late Hugo Chavez at the Venezuelan president’s funeral.
Hey, if he can perform at Rush Limbaugh’s fourth wedding for $1 million…

(Chavez may or may not have increased milk production by 50 percent, but it’s one of several basic food items that are hard for ordinary Venezuelans to obtain.)
On the other hand this bizarre ceremony– the swearing-in, next to Chavez’s coffin, of Jorge Arreaza as executive vice president by Acting President Nicolas Maduro– is apparently all too real. (Even if you don’t know Spanish, notice how many times Chavez is name-checked.)

Why don’t you interview one of the many wealthy “revolutionaries” next time? Or one of the millions of opposition supporters who isn’t swilling whiskey or on their way to their white-collar job?
