Israel/Palestine

An invitation to an exhibition from the KCL Israeli-Palestinian Forum

I thought London based readers might be interested in this:

The King’s College London Israeli-Palestinian Forum invite you to the viewing of a new exhibition reflecting individual perspectives from within both Israel and Palestine, kindly sponsored by KCLSU and the King’s College London War Studies and Middle East and Mediterranean Studies Departments.

So much is said and written about Israel and Palestine, but it’s striking how little is actually seen from the point of view of those living and working in the region. We believe that the image is an essential and powerful tool for understanding personal narratives. With this in mind, we have tracked down both amateur and professional photographers who share a connection with the region and asked them to contribute an piece; it could be anything, as long as it was meaningful to them.

We will also be hosting a launch event and drinks reception on Monday 25th February at 7pm in The Lobby. We would be delighted if you would be able to share this special occasion with us. Places are limited so please RSVP by emailing kclipf@gmail.com. Follow the exhibition on Twitter: @kclipf Open 25.02.13 – 01.03.13

The KCL IPF was set up to discuss Israel/Palestine in an open-minded, non-judgemental and non-partisan way, and to encourage positive and constructive debate.
