This is sad news. Tim Montgomerie, writing about the planned Conservative reshuffle and the need for more voices from the “mainstream right”, has posted that the “three planks of the Tory re-election strategy are in poor repair”.
With their gerrymandering boundary changes a bust, the economy in a deep ditch, the Conservative brand remains deeply toxic that no amount of Olympic good will can fix.
After some fast blame storming it is clear who is to blame for at least some of these problems: the Liberal Democrats.
