Our friend Michael Weiss, who blogs for The Telegraph, recently crossed into Syria and accompanied the Free Syrian Army on a tour of liberated Aleppo.
That he was able to get in and out of the country suggests a serious loss of control by the Assad regime.

Syrian army forces are now fighting to regain control of the city.
