The government-run VTV channel broadcast another video designed to assure us of Hugo Chavez’s good health almost three weeks after surgery in Cuba, where he is still hospitalized. This time we see and hear him chatting and reading the newspaper with Fidel Castro. And while he seems to be doing OK physically, Miguel Octavio at The Devil’s Excrement notices a wheelchair behind Chavez at the beginning of the video.
But what really caught my attention was the music at the beginning of the video: the theme from the motion picture “Exodus”– a not-very-good but unapologetically Zionist movie based on a not-very-good but unapologetically Zionist novel by Leon Uris about the founding of the State of Israel.
I don’t mean to get anyone in trouble, but if the famously anti-Israel Chavez finds out, I hope he doesn’t suffer a relapse.
