I was going to add a link to this petition in a comment to habibi’s recent piece about Amayreh – but thought it would reach more people if I made it a separate post.
With your help, it is imperative we all tell Amnesty that if this event goes ahead, they will lose all credibility as a voice claiming to support the ideas of justice and freedom.
Whether you are Jewish, Muslim, Christian, whatever your politics and whatever you opinion on the Arab-Israeli conflict; it is vital that we all work together to combat the prejudice and rhetoric of hate that MEMO espouses – a violent discourse that Amnesty will be helping to enable if this event goes ahead.
