Asim Qureshi of Cageprisoners is not a happy man. He has just been denied a visa by the US embassy in London.
His reaction? Here you go:
So what if I have previously called for jihad against the oppression of the West outside of the US embassy in London? Surely that is the moral stance that can be taken against the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq – please see this and this for enlightenment on this subject. Surely I should be allowed freedom of speech as under the US constitution – I mean , it’s not like I’ve ever killed anyone , tortured them or held them beyond the law – I leave that kind of activity to US presidents.
Yes, here he is, outside the very same embassy:
“We embrace the mercy. We embrace every single thing that is set upon us and we deal with it because we have no fear. So when we see the example of our brothers and sisters fighting in Chechnya, Iraq, Palestine, Kashmir, Afghanistan then we know where the example lies. When we see Hezbollah defeating the armies of Israel, we know what the solution is and where the victory lies. We know that it is incumbent upon all of us to support the jihad of our brothers and sisters in these countries when they are facing the oppression of the west.”
So, Asim Qureshi calls on Muslims to support the murderers of American troops. And he is surprised and incensed that America doesn’t want to let him in.
It’s the height of Islamist arrogance.
His article is littered with one gross anti-American line after another.
this gratuitously obese nation of (largely (and I mean that in a numerical sense now) dimwits
…
When we got the part of the evening where the topic of the questionable intellect of some Americans came up, Scharlette’s only response was, “Can y’all imagine how smart I would be if I had been born outside the US!”
…
As soon as possible, countries must be invaded in order to increase the level of violent crime, gun crime, murder and the objectifying of the female body
…
I really don’t want to have to resort to killing, kidnap and torture to prove how American I can be.
Prejudice, slander, and burning hatred for America on top of promotion of jihad: no wonder Cageprisoners finds supporters on the British left.
I trust the officer who made the visa decision thoroughly enjoyed doing the right thing.
