Cluedo-less Ex-Coppers,  Islamism

Bob Lambert: Just Fancy That!

Bob Lambert is an ex-copper, who now works for iEngage, a pro-Islamist ‘think tank’ (if that isn’t to grand a name) run by Inayat Bunglawala, and Mohammed Ali Harrath, a convicted Tunisian terrorist.

He strongly and sincerely believes that the likes of Bunglawala, Harrath and the rest of that gang, represent this country’s best hope against Al Qaeda. Here he is, in the Guardian, beating the same tired old drum he has been slapping, since his Metropolitan Police Muslim Contact Unit handed over the keys of Finsbury Park Mosque to a shady bunch of Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas activists:

More recently the Demos approach has been endorsed by researchers at the University of Birmingham (pdf). Here again many of Husain’s subversives are shown to be pro-active and effective civic partners.

When we look at the Birmingham study, what do we find?

Finally, the research team would like to give their special thanks to Robert Lambert MBE, Lecturer, Centre for the Study of Terrorism and Political Violence (CSTPV), University of St. Andrews and Research Fellow, Department of Politics, University of Exeter, for his significant help and support in his role as consultant and facilitator.

And when we look at the Demos study…

We have benefited enormously from the support and guidance of so many people. There are too many to name them all individually, but we should say special thanks to a number who have made important contributions to this piece ofresearch.
First, thanks to our steering group:…

Of course, the steering group includes Bob Lambert, along with a bunch of pretty dodgy types (and John Denham).

Well, you could knock me down with a feather!

(One of the co-authors of that Demos report was Catherine Fieschi, the ill fated director of Demos, who later had to resign.)
