That seems to be the best two-word summation of Pat Buchanan’s now-infamous article to mark the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of World War II.
At least one conservative website, Real Clear Politics, was embarrassed enough to remove it, though it remains on several others. Orac of the Respectful Insolence blog has a brilliant, well-informed takedown of Buchanan’s apologetic nonsense– which he also spun in his book “The Unnecessary War.”
Of course the libertarian Justin Raimondo of antiwar.com (a favorite source for anti-interventionists of both the Right and the Left), comes to Buchanan’s defense.
