Update: Wendell Potter, a former top insurance company executive, discusses the largely behind-the-scenes role of the insurance industry in trying to scuttle meaningful health care reform.
So far the best that insurance industry apologists– in this case the rightwing “Newsbusters” website— can come up with to discredit Potter is that he has a “left-wing political affiliation.” Elsewhere, his political affiliation is described as “Far Left” and “liberal.” As is often the case on the Right, these terms are used interchangeably and synonymously.
