Due to unforseen circumstances the UEL ISOC Annual Dinner scheduled for the 28th of April has now been cancelled. This is due to the SU recieving complaints about our speakers.
The UEL ISOC would like to apologise to all those who took an interest in the event, and also all those who purchased tickets. We would be happy to refund your tickets just contact the person you got the ticket from and qoute the number at the back of the ticket. We apologise for any inconvinience caused.
Its very saddening the SU didnt let the event go ahead. But khayr its all in the plan of Allah. We have a strong feeling a lot of outside influence affected the decisions the SU made, most likely the work of Quilliam Foundation.
The NUS apparently banned Ustadh Uthman Lateef from coming to our campus, and didnt give any reasons as to why. Like bro Abu eemaan said It would be good for brothers and sisters who are part of ISOCS at college or university if possible to contact the NUS and ask them for an explanation.
