Harold Pinter, who was an outspoken member of the International Committee to Defend Slobodan Milosevic, has died.
He wrote a rather good play, Mountain Language, about the brutal repression of the Kurds. However, as it turned out, he strongly opposed the liberation of the Kurds, and wrote a bad poem on the subject.
In the end, Pinter’s hatred of the United States was much greater than his love for oppressed people.
