It’s like “Invasion of the Body Snatchers.”
A number of prominent conservatives (most recently Jeffrey Hart) have announced their plans to vote for Barack Obama. Now comes the news that Joshua Simmons, chairman of the University of Florida’s “Gators for McCain,” voted for Obama two weeks ago but didn’t get around to submitting his resignation until Sunday night.
“I’ve seen a different John McCain than the one I signed up to work for,” he said.

“I expect [the one thousand members of the pro-McCain group] to be incredibly pissed off,” he said.
Um, yeah. He might want to stay away from campus for a few months. And I’d say the same if an Obama backer switched to McCain under the same circumstances.
