Hallo, this is Adam LeBor, a new contributor to Harry’s Place. I am a writer and journalist, with a special interest in eastern Europe and Israel/Palestine. I contribute to The Times, The Guardian, The Economist, The Jewish Chronicle and Literary Review in Britain, and I have written for The Nation and The New York Times. I am the author of five books, including “City of Oranges: Arabs and Jews in Jaffa“, which recounts the life stories of six families, three Arab and three Jewish, who live in Jaffa, and a biography of Slobodan Milosevic. My new book, Complicity With Evil: The United Nations in the Age of Modern Genocide, an examination of the UN’s catastrophic failures in Srebrenica, Rwanda and Darfur, will be published by Yale University Press this autumn.
