Most detested

From a Morning Star interview with sci-fi author/blogger/hard-leftist Ken MacLeod:

“On the question of Iraq, the people who I most detest in politics at the moment are the pro-war left,” he says, noting how exhausting just tackling the “fallacies and assertions” of the “drink-sodden Trots for war” tendency can be.

Aw shucks, Ken. Do you really mean it? We exhaust you that much?

And what is it about sci-fi and the far-flung regions of the Left? I used to participate in an online forum with a guy who was convinced that Ursula Le Guin’s “The Dispossessed” was a blueprint for real, existing anarchism. I only made it about halfway through, so I can’t say.
